I am an obsessed music lover who was born and grown up in Transylvania. For me North was and still is like Transylvania to Blacksters: somewhere to belong desperately for a never known reason but a strong emotion. It was a real "comin´ home" when I arrived to Gothenburg´s now already closed airport, in Säve. Music of any kind, from classics (Strauss, Brahms, Vivaldi, Bach, Paganini) to blues, rock, folk, hard rock and hard core. But its the whole spectrum of metal that's closest to my heart and being honest, I prefer thrash, death, black metal. Even as a kid I was and still I am inspired by nature, woods, history. The Scandinavian darkness get me when I was 12 and it was full on from that point. The music actually came earlier but combined with the Norwegian black metal and Swedish death metal it totally changed my mind and my point of view, finally I moved to Sweden from Hungary where I´ve lived a couple of years, get married and had a daughter.
I moved to Hungary due my favourite Thrash Metal band ever, Moby Dick. Their music and lyrics was so important to me and they operate with hungarian lyrics from begining and this made them kings in my eyes: finally I could understand the lyrics because back then my english was quite weak understanding american or german bands, you know... So, there I became their road/ technician and I was able to follow them on many hungarian tours, gigs, concerts and festivals. They splitted stage with Kreator, Testament, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse and even Slayer under these years in Budapest at Sziget Fesztival. It was my first dream that came true. The second one is that I´m living right here, right now meanwhile you read these sentences...
My absolute biggest guitar heroes and bands are: Randy Rhoads, Zakk Wylde, Malmsteen, Gary More, Slash, EVH, Chuck Schuldiner, Trey Azaghtoth, Bill Steer, AC/DC, Sepultura, Exodus, Morbid Angel, Testament, Napalm Death Sodom, Kreator, Slayer, Unleashed, Dismember, Dissection, Entombed, Moonspell, Darkthrone, Bathory, Ramones, Motörhead and many, many more. I've started modifying guitars, change pickups quite early, always on the look out for new sounds. Then I had a Charvel project with fretwork, lacquer spraying. Using a can. In kitchen. My wife said nothing then but the next step was my RR Jackson, almost the same work. But it was sprayed in the bathroom. At 10pm with a 24 liter compressor, in a traphouse. Then she wanted to kill me when everything became blood red due to the sunburst and bad masking.
I had a small box room ( or should l say a wardrobe instead? ;) ) that was basically kept for storage, it was 2 meter square with 8 guitars, 200 cd-s, books and my workshop too. But it was great to fight with those guitars. This was the first point when we decide to get a house with enough space for a workshop. Said and done. I had the opportunity to learn from Sweden's biggest and in my opinion best luthier, the highly talented Lars Arvidsson. In school Bengt Melin was my mentor who made my hands´control for a sure work. That experience combined with atending school to learn Joinery (cabinet making) in Borås, the city I now call home.
I have to mention Marie Blackenfelt too, without her l never ever could be a student at school and finally Allan Ståhlbrand and his beatiful work on my t-shirts, flyers, hoodies and everything which belong to propaganda section.
